Corporate History
Founded in 1977, MAC Medical Supply Company, Inc. plays an essential role in support of the health care community. As a nationally recognized supplier of medically-related products and services we have a record of stability with both clients and vendors.

MAC was founded as the Midwest Arrhythmia Center, Inc., the first commercial Holter Scanning Service in the Midwest. Quickly gaining a reputation for excellence in service and for its innovative and technologically advanced approach to the Holter Report Format, MAC set standards that are still copied by other services nationally and worldwide.

MAC was the first Holter company to promote the "Total Service" concept, i.e., customers are able to choose from a menu of options to suit their needs, including purchase or rental of in-house systems, back-up scanning service or a complete MAC-managed scanning service.

The clinical experience gained from the Holter service allowed MAC to naturally branch into many other areas in the Cardiology and Electrophysiology fields. MAC has applied the "Total Service" concept to all product lines. From well-trained customer representatives to competent clinical specialists to in-house BioMedical engineers, MAC has the resources to assist customers in all phases of diagnostic clinical programs. This unique approach has given MAC intimate knowledge of its customers' needs and concerns and has fostered relationships that in many cases are as old as the company.

Another aspect of MAC's experience has been a history of successful vendor relationships. By developing close and mutually satisfying working relationships with vendors we are able to afford greater flexibility in purchasing and sales.
